Our Ministries
Our ministries depend heavily on gifted and passionate people who are not preachers, staff members, elders or deacons. We are committed to the principle, taught in the Bible in Ephesians 4:11-12, that every member is a minister, and that the elders, deacons and teachers are there to equip all the rest for their ministries. At Christ Church, we believe God equips both men and women to serve Him with their gifts in a wide range of ways. We are committed to make grateful use of the gifts of all.
Getting people like you connected in ministry involves us and it involves you. We need to seek you out and invite you to plug in. You need to check out the needs and opportunities we make known. And (and this is important to us!), we need to take note of God's creative work in your mind and heart that may create ministries that we don't have in place and that we might not have thought of.
So, please, look carefully at the various ways in which we are currently serving God and our world. They reflect the involvement of ordinary people committed to an extraordinary purpose. If we don't ask you first, please let us know how you'd like to get involved. And if you have an idea for a new ministry, let us know!
